The Lem Garcia Law Scholarship will provide a $1,000 award to an aspiring attorney who is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in law school for the 2022-2023 academic year. This scholarship program is intended to alleviate some of the financial burden associated with attending law school.

Application Process and Deadline: To apply for the Lem Garcia Law $1,000 Scholarship, please write an essay of 800 words or less about why you are pursuing a legal career and how you plan to use your degree to fight for justice. If you have past experience in advocating for yourself or others, we would love to hear how that experience informed your decision to pursue a career in law. Eligibility: Anyone who is accepted into any law school in the U.S. for the 2022-2023 academic year or current law school students attending any law school in the U.S. throughout the 2022-2023 academic year.
Judging Criteria & Award Disbursement: A panel of judges, including senior management from Lem Garcia Law, will evaluate all submissions and select the winner. An announcement will be made on September 15, 2022. The winner will be required to show proof of enrollment in law school.
